Don’t vote. It’s a waste of your time. If you want real change see through the smokescreen and understand that you have been conditioned to think in terms of only two. That’s how simple “they” believe that you are. Educate yourself and you’ll see a world far beyond borders. However, if you are American and you do believe the political system I will only offer you this: Liberals are damn stupid. They offer no solutions to any problems. Republicans are stupid because their only solution to problems is to create more problems. Tea party republicans are especially stupid because they are led by the rich to represent the middle class and shout absolute nonsense. Libertarians are stupid because they believe in zero government regulations on anything, and I do believe that all workers should wash hands before returning to the kitchen. The Green Party is a satirical name for an independent when the only true Green Party was the one held on Jekyll Island to write the federal reserve act in 1913 to be passed on to Wilson to sign without review.
The real reason for your deficit? No, it’s not the lower class family you keep posting memes about. The people against abortion hate the idea of funding health care for pregnant women or food stamps for children. The people against republican ideologies are so polar opposite that they step into socialism, thus negating the very capitalist fundamental values they hold so true. The xenophobic anti-muslim electorate has been so brutally molested by the American fear machine, they fear intelligence and lack self worth. The religious continue to find solitude in their beliefs, but refuse that anyone can find peace in their own beliefs if they don’t align with theirs.
I do not share in patriotic pride. Because I don’t believe it is something to be proud of unless you are an immigrant. Yet those who are most proud to be Americans frown upon and fear the immigrants. I am not proud to be American. Not because I hate this beautiful land or feel disconnected to the people… it is because I refuse to be proud of anything that I did not work to achieve. I will repeat that… I do not feel proud of anything that I did not work to achieve.
To be an overly xenophobic American beaming with pride for America heritage when most of us are, in fact citizens from immigrants, is stupid. It just is. It is the same extent of my uncle coming home and getting a promotion at work and me being like “YES WE GOT A PROMOTION!”. I didn’t do anything. And if you study history even slightly, you’ll understand that the great men who shaped this place would not be proud of what it’s become. Your lack of empathy, consumerist competitive thirst, pride in ignorance, victimization of fear mongering, and ability to passively subdued by this entertainment that you refer to as reality… well it results in consequence. Consequence that the only two leaders that have been placed before you are this failing business man and this political elitist. The election process doesn’t work. It has been high jacked. In 2000 by Bush when the Florida tech stood on the senate floor explaining how it worked, and again more recently by the DNC.
So today I will sit home and do something useful with my time. I will make some music. Because that, unlike what you will do, will work for me. And the day that it doesn’t I will abandon it for something else that makes me happy instead of holding onto it over some source of pride because it is my “right”.
